Client: Outfield Apiaries (Start Up)
Outfield Apiaries was founded by the desire to expose folks across the US to unique, small batch honeys they might never experience. OA partnered with owner-operated apiaries had a relatively small reach, mainly selling their goods at local farmers markets or through a limited online presence.
OA subscription boxes were sold on a quarterly basis, each new box featuring incredible honeys made by their very own cartoon queen bee. Dipper served as our Chief Buzz Officer, Lil’ Boss the face of our first box, and Big Tex representing apiaries across Texas.
The joy of OA was in the brand - effortlessly blending bees and baseball. Each queen had a space in the Dugout with their unique personalities, each of their boxes filled with whimsy and joy. Emails shared recipe ideas from the Home Plate.
I partnered with the co-founders to build the Wix website, run social media, develop personalities and story lines for each of the queen bees.
